Centric was founded in 2022, following a period when work moved beyond the office and into homes, kitchens, and spare rooms almost overnight. Businesses quickly realised they needed more than someone to “fix IT issues” — they needed technology that actually worked together, supported their people, and made day‑to‑day work easier.

Meet Scott Morrison
Scott began his IT career in Mac Systems for Telecom, later moving into Software Development and Business Network solutions for Clik before broadening his experience in the financial services sector.
​
A move to Central Otago, saw Scott establish his first IT support business, followed by a role with a company specialising in POS and EFTPOS systems and working with hospitality and retail businesses.
​​
In 2020, Scott helped local businesses rapidly transition to remote work, cloud systems, and digital collaboration, unlocking long‑term benefits in how they work.
